The NGI Foundation and the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Electrical Engineering have collaborated to initiate the Open Energy Profiler Toolset (OpenEPT) project and have formalized the partnership by signing a Memorandum of Agreement.
The 'OpenEPT' project should revolutionize microcontroller consumption profiling. The primary objective of 'OpenEPT' is to furnish engineers and researchers with a comprehensive set of tools for microcontroller profiling. This will involve EEZ DIB-compatible hardware solution, firmware, and a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) application.
A dedicated team will be working on developing an extensive set of hardware and software tools with the main goal of facilitating accurate profiling of microcontroller-based platform consumption. The project follows a clearly defined roadmap and has a specific timeline in place for deliverables.
Collaborative excellence is at the core of 'OpenEPT,' with a multidisciplinary team of experts from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The project will utilize agile methodologies, regular progress assessments, and feedback loops to ensure a streamlined and effective development process.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement is a significant milestone that reinforces the commitment to collaborative research and technological innovation. Kindly stay tuned for further updates on this project in the upcoming months.
